Of course we (our local gub-ment) have “approved” to build MANY new neighborhood developments in Walton County. It's just a short time before this sweet little town/county looks like Snellville or Lawrenceville and the cesspool of Gwinnett County.
The commissioners in this place care only about how much more TAX dollars they can collect. And then they WILL come (as they already have) and claim that we “need” a SPLOST to cover their excessive spending.

An average increase per single family home of about $125.00 per year. With around 31,000 homes. That equates to an increase in new funds to our county coffers of almost $4,000,000.
YES - FOUR MILLION DOLLARS!!!
But our commissioners are trying to sell us on a new millage rate increase to account for their $3+MILLION in overspending!!!
